What we love
In a unique shade of ridiculously soft suede, Mirella means “to admire,” and there’s definitely something to love about this shoe. Mustard yellow is the it color of the season, and it pairs amazingly well with denim. There’s something so easy and incredibly wearable about a mule, and yet this one makes a statement in the best way possible.

Expert Craftsmanship
Bells & Becks shoes are crafted for those with a true appreciation for handmade, artisan fashion. Our shoes are made in top-tier Italian factories that produce methodically and with exacting precision. The feel of luxury is present because we use only the highest-quality components: buttery-soft leather uppers, leather outsoles, insoles, and linings, plus the finest hardware and finishes.
Behind The Factory
We discovered this incredible factory on our travels and found some of the softest leathers and suedes paired with the perfect contemporary fashion point of view. They are a family-owned business started by the Pennesi brothers in 1956 that has produced artisanal, high-quality women’s shoes ever since. Located in Marche, one of the oldest shoe-making regions in Italy, this factory is known for its high quality and fashion styling – the perfect combination for Bells & Becks!
Sacchetto
The Mirella is “lavorazione a Sacchetto” (made with a sacchetto construction), a rare, old-world shoemaking technique done by only a few Italian factories as extreme precision is required. It involves hand stitching the lining and the insole together and then sewing this piece to the upper of the shoe. The result is a flexible sole that adapts to movement and the curvature of the foot, a better structure to the shoe for maximal foot support, and of course, unparalleled fit and comfort.
